Book Fair

We will be hosting a school book fair from April 16-24. Come visit, and purchase books. Our book fairs help support our school library with new books. There are books for all ages and reading levels, so come look at the great selections.

Child Abuse Prevention Month

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. In honor of the children affected by child abuse and neglect we are asking everyone to wear blue on Thursday, April 26, 2018. We will also be having a hat day. Students can wear a hat for $1 all day in school. Hat donations will go towards youth scholarships within the community. Our community needs to protect our children. If you suspect child abuse or neglect, please call the Department of Child Services hotline at 1-800-800-5556. It should not hurt to be a child.

Last Day Of School

Due to weather related school cancelations, the last day of school for students is on Tuesday, May 29. Have a safe and enjoyable summer!

The second round of ISTEP+ will be April 16-27. Please encourage your child to get extra rest and eat a well-balanced breakfast to do their best on the test. Students are not permitted to bring cell phones or other electronic devises into the ISTEP/IREAD-3/ISTAR classrooms or locations where testing takes place. Students should leave such items at home on testing dates. Thank you!
